FAMILY MINISTRY

Our vision and mission in Family Ministry is to see families being transformed by God as they journey together in faith, and to partner with families, providing a nurturing place where they can grow in community. We aim to do this by educating, equipping and encouraging families in every age and stage of life, so that a spiritual foundation is established in Jesus Christ.

Many people have said that because they do not have children, Family Ministries does not pertain to them! However, whether you are retired, single, married and your kids are grown, think of Family Ministry as a place where you can connect and enjoy what is going on in the life of the church. There are events, such as game nights, the annual All-Church Retreat, community service projects and holiday events to participate in.

Dinners of 8

Are you interested in having a time of fellowship with FPCGH family and friends? Do you enjoy good food, new friends and good times?

If so, Dinners of 8 is for you!

On Friday, January 31, 2025, we will pilot the first FPCGH Dinners of 8. At 6:00 PM that evening, groups of 8 (or 7 or 9) will meet at individual homes for a potluck feast. Family Ministries will “match” the groups, so you will get to know congregants you might not know already. Host families will provide the main course; others will bring side dishes, dessert and drinks.

Please complete the form below by Sunday January 19 indicating your interest to participate. For more information, contact Sallie Matthews at 818.384.1871.
