Missions - Local Mission Outreach

Inspired by Jesus' exhortation to assist those in need who we might learn about or directly encounter, the Social Concerns Ministry initiates and coordinates efforts by members of this congregation to help our "neighbors in need" in the San Fernando Valley and adjacent areas who find it difficult to fulfill their basic requirements for food, clothing and shelter.

As occasions and opportunities arise, we provide assistance through financial support to community organizations that aid those in need, as well as volunteer our time and energy conducting various activities that directly assist in meeting food, clothing, and shelter needs.

If you want to help us share God's love by assisting those in need in our surrounding community, please join us at our Social Concerns Ministry meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the choir room.
