The Riverboat Dixie Jazz Band was formed in 1998 dedicated to playing traditional, New Orleans style
Dixieland jazz, for the enjoyment of their listeners and to enhance the appreciation of early Jazz that
was performed from 1897 through the 1920’s….an era called “The Jazz Age”.
Riverboat Dixie has performed and entertained at numerous civic and private events including the
Reagan Library, Concerts in the Park, various Country Clubs, Gardens of the World, The Kavali Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Art Plaza, The Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, and as a featured band at a number of jazz clubs. Past performances also include corporate and trade shows, fraternal
