Holy Week and Easter Sunday Activities

First Pres invites you to join us for our Holy Week and Easter Sunday Activities

Palm Sunday: March 28, 9:00, 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem with the children of our church with a special presentation of "Come, Messiah Come" by the King's Kids, our children's choir.

Maundy Thursday: April 1, 7:30 p.m. in Lee Hall. Join us as we remember Jesus' last night with his disciples through the dramatic presentation, "Come to the Table." Communion will be served.

Good Friday: April 2, 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is a service of shadows to focus our thoughts on the darkness of the cross.

Easter Sunday: April 4, 6:00, 9:00, and 11:00 a.m.
Sunrise celebration: 6:00 a.m. on the patio. Rise with the sun and celebrate the Lord at this relaxed service of praise, prayer & fellowship. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for the patio.

Blended celebration: 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. A glorious celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ--featuring the Cathedral and Brass Choirs--and concluding with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus.

Contemporary celebration: 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. A contemporary celebration of the resurrection with the Worship Band, Gospel Choir, and brass leading our praise and worship to our risen Lord.
